| Son of Joseph Edward Becker and Nellie Mae Yoder, and brother of Robert K., and half brother of James Becker and Earl Edward Turpin, and adopted brother Jerry Price. Joseph enlisted in the National Guard on November 13, 1948, US Army Reserve April 7, 1950, US Army March 19, 1951, USAF July, 1956 and retired from the Air Force as Master Sergeant on November 1, 1972. During 1967 and 1968, Joseph served in the Spy Project River Green during the Viet Nam War. Joseph graduated from College in September 1973 with a Business and Economics degree and received his Masters Degree from Kansas University in 1977. He completed his Post Masters Degree work in Public Administration and Educational Specialist Degree in February of 1979. Joseph married Sally Annette McCalley on May 5, 1954. Sally had a son, Keith Schemmel, by previous marriage. Three children were born to Joseph and Sally; Susan Annette Becker, Kathy Jean Becker, and Joseph Eugene Becker Jr. Joseph also married Donna Witt. No children were produced from this marriage. Joseph married Mary Ann Kennicut (Frank)(Becker). Mary Ann has one daughter by previous marriage; Susan Elizabeth Frank. No children were produced from this marriage. Joseph served as a Missouri Parole Officer for 3 years, and the state Psychological Society for 2 years, and Deputy Commissioner of Mental Health to New York for 2 years. He was also Executive Director and Founder of Indepencence House, a half-way house for parolees for 3 years, and a member of the Board of Directors of Morning Star Lodge, another half-way house. Joseph is a licensed Life Insurance Broker and a Licensed Securities Representative. He is also the owner and operator of Becker and Associates; Advertizing and Sales.
