New IBM Matching Grants Platform

The Matching Grants Program has moved to a new platform!

IBM employees should access ibm.org and sign in using their intranet credentials.

IBM retirees who were legacy users of the IBM Volunteers program should access ibm.org/retiree and ‘Sign in’.

IBM retirees who do not have an IBM.org profile will be required to create one using either their IBMid, Google, or Linkedin accounts.

Profile creation requires your personal information in addition to your IBM serial number and your retirement date. After your profile is created, it will be submitted to the IBM Human Resources Department for verification. In about three days you will receive an email telling you that your profile has been approved, and you can now log into the IBM Volunteers Portal at ibm.org/retiree.

Retirees can contribute directly to an approved non-profit through the IBM Volunteers Portal. This makes it easier to apply for matching grants, since no additional receipts are required.

Matching grants requests for donations made outside of the IBM Volunteers Portal require proof of the donation. This usually means that you must submit a copy of the receipt that you received from the non-profit for your donation.  IBM no longer asks non-profits for verification.
