In 1997 while I was working for IBM Global Services. Fernando Armenta president of SOLES aka The Society of Latino Engineers and Scientists  at San Jose State University asked if I would help then build a web server using Microsoft BT 4 and Internet Information server to host the Soles chapter website. Soles president Carlos Restrepo, Fernando Armenta, SHPE Region VP Byron Gutierrez with Oracle. 5/10/1997.

In 1997, The Stanford Society of Chicano and Latino Engineers and Scientists http://sscles.stanford.edu/ also asked that I do the same for their SHPE Chapter.
